UPO Biobank. The biobank of the University of Eastern Piedmont

UPO Biobank is the University of Eastern Piedmont’s system for the collection and storage of human biological samples and related clinical data for biomedical research purposes. The UPO Biobank is based on an inclusive and participatory model of the scientific community. Any citizen from the relevant geographical area may contribute by donating their biological samples and authorising the use of the associated clinical data. It is a valuable tool for public health, grounded in concrete collaboration between the population, researchers and institutions.
