The Role and Contribution of Women in Critical Infrastructure
Within the Return partnership, Zadig produced a series of three videos highlighting the contribution of women in the field of critical infrastructure — dams, railways, roads and bridges — placing technical expertise, risk management and the challenges posed by climate change at the centre of the narrative.
How can risk research be strengthened and communicated in ways that are accessible, rigorous and relevant to society?
Zadig produced the video series Infrastructure: Feminine, Plural, presented on the occasion of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science.
The editorial and video project was developed within the framework of RETURN – Multi-risk science for resilient communities under a changing climate, the extended partnership aimed at consolidating national research networks on environmental, natural and anthropogenic risks and promoting their participation in strategic European and global value chains.
The series highlights the contribution of women in the field of critical infrastructure — dams, railways, roads and bridges — placing technical expertise, risk management and the challenges posed by climate change at the centre of the narrative.
The project stems from the collaboration with the DIATI Department of Politecnico di Torino and was co-produced by Zadig, which contributed to the editorial development and narrative design of the content, together with Jack Stupid for audiovisual production.
